This morning KODA 99.1 had Colonel Jim Stern (sp), just back from Iraq, on the show. He was with a group who searched for terrorist groups and WMD evidence.

Terrorist in Iraq.
He said they did find numerous terrorist cells operating in Iraq at the beginning of the war. He didn’t say what group(s) the terrorist were from.

WMD.
He said they have found everything to do with WMD, the scientist, documents, instructions and facilities to make them. They have not found any huge stock piles.

The Iraqis.
He said the Iraqis loved to bury stuff in the desert, but they have ways of finding stuff buried. He said they are still looking and he feels very confident they will find WMD.

He also said that Saddam did not mark his shells because he didn’t want his troops to know they were firing chemical weapons at the opposition. This goes against the Geneva convention.

Jim also said that the majority of Iraqis are happy the Americans are there. Only a small percentage doesn’t like Americans. He is very irritated the Media will not focus on the good being done over there.
