My prediction: the Shiites in Iraq will start exporting "democratoc ideas" to the Shiites in Iran
The corrupt and oppressive government in Tehran wants more ties and influence in Iraq but they better be careful what they wish for. It could boomerang on them big time. Probably will. In a year or two Iranians are gonna be thinking, "Hey, the brothers and sisters in Iraq can get together and choose their own leaders without a bunch of tired old ayatollahs pulling all the strings and choosing their leaders for them? Hmmm...I wonder if that could work here..."
