I was expecting that anyway - given the US election and the US demography at HZ, it's hardly unreasonable. The only problem for me is knowing whether to bother with a particular CE thread, or post. The thread topic might be totally trivial and parochial to non-US people, but any particular post could be either a one-liner (and a no-brainer), or a really engaging treatise on something important. It's difficult or impossible to tell just from the post subject title.

Anyway, thanks for your thoughtfulness. We have our own grubby little vicious Federal election coming up (as it were) some time soon. I'll get a lot of practice avoiding that as well.
