It's not the intel and the spin the intelligence services put on it that matters. It's this administration's interest before it even came to power in getting rid of Hussein over all other enemies and all other dangers that does matter. The bad intel is now their excuse for having one bad idea all along. It's like some teenager saying the neighbor's dog ate his homework. They didn't listen to those who told them it was bad intel then and they didn't care anyway.
Bush and his administration has put us in greater danger now with this stupid senseless war and that Republicans can't see that is irksome.
The man is a liar, Tom. It is that simple.
