re: Blame it on Plato.........

"Dude, it takes a twisted-sister reading on Martin Heidegger and his differentiation of sein und dasein and connect the dots the way you seem to think draws a straight line from Rousseau to Nietzsche and Marx and Fichte.

You through in a list of philosophers that you apparently haven't read and certainly don't have a clue as to what they were saying. I really don't care except that it is embarrassing to see."

Dude, you are a moron.

As far as blaming it on Plato, there might be some merit to placing some blame on him- if you are looking at a big loose picture. But there is the condition that any knowledge sifted through centuries of clueless humans is bound to become twisted. And we are left with reading material that has survived rather than based upon more direct decisions by Plato. And one has to consider that you had an organized religion that "traditionally" has been murderously jealous of any ideas which might threaten their propaganda efforts. The larger part of what is missing might be how philosophy was used and/or instructed.
Blaming Plato or having philosophers in the lower circles of hell might be "something" that should be considered.
