Brownshirts? No. Brown facial appendage? Yes.
"George Bush and others can say whatever they want now about what their values are, but what have they spent their life doing? Have they shown in their life experience, not just in the time they've been in politics, but in their life experience, that they have the values that Americans looked up to and respected?" Edwards asked. "It's just difficult for me to imagine anybody in my little home town in rural North Carolina looking up to and respecting someone more than John Kerry."

This is a joke right? A trial lawyer represents America's values? Was anyone ever looking up to John Kerry, much less unable to find someone more worthy of their respect. That must be a really pathetic town! In that town, they must have no TV, internet and no library. They must have a population of philanderers, liars and hypocrites and John Kerry must've been their only visitor.
Edwards has got to come up for air sometime doesn't he? Such hyperbole is ridiculous and just points out the Kerry/Edwards teams obvious shortcomings. Now to cut him some slack he added the modifier phrase "difficult for me to imagine" like any good trial lawyer would. What Edwards has going for him is he is an experienced liar. He's a trial attorney! So he brings to a ticket a wealth of modifying phrases that can be inserted into every statement and promise they make so that they can point out later to the dupes that support them that they didn't really say what people thought they said.
And then there is this:
Kerry added, "Does [Edwards] have as much experience as me? No. But I am running for president; he's running for vice president."
The whole role of VP is to be able to qualified to replace the President. Right here he admits Edwards is not qualified to be President. Does he even realize it? I doubt it.
Not real bright these two.
And what does that say for those who support them?
