Good Rental: The Butterfly Effect
Ashton Kutcher's character develops an ability (through mental illness) to jump to alternative timelines in an attempt to straighten out the lives of his childhood friends as well as his own reality.
Good story, above average character development, raises a few ethical questions, and Kutcher actually does a pretty good job of playing something besides a moron.
Violence and Adult themes.
