Kerry will come on board the Vision once elected. And his sidekick Edwards expressed a lot of support for it and an understanding of WHY we need to explore space. NASA will be under Edwards purview.

Buck my man you ARE the perrenial optimist.
Now the last "space VP" we had, had this as HIS record...

* CUT NASA's budget 7 out of the 8 years
* No new program initiatives
* Pushed FBC as NASA policy resulting in several notable mission failures from underfunding; this is no longer NASA policy
* Proposed the goofy Trianna PR boondoggle, thankfully killed
* ISS took 5 years longer at way > 2x the budget $ during his 8 year administration
* Cancelled the cost effective DC-X program which FLEW several times
* His X-33 hangar queen boondoggle cost over $1B and NEVER flew

Me, I just hope that Senator Kerry no longer supports the moonbats who were against Cassini. I do give him props for considering the space prize paradigm, if he really means it.
