Yeah I remember reading the same thing a month or so ago about both rovers being relatively dust free. The drop in power was attributed to the decreased sunlight. The entire article seemed to focus on the negative. I don't believe the rovers are nearing the end of the line yet. I suspect they will continue to operate at some level a year from now. (An Earth year).

I really wish there were more timely updates on the rover home page. It's Sol 189 for Spirit and the "latest news" is from Sols 175-178. Slow updating bastards!

What I'd also like to see is a picture of each rover site with a little rover image in it, indicting it's location for each sol.
