Larry, as you know by now I firmly committed to the belief that the war in Iraq is a huge mistake but, had I been in the crowd next to one of those morons shouting that at a serviceman, they would've been eating sidewalk.

Now, had that serviceman been walking along flipping everyone off and bragging about dispatching "ragheads" in Iraq, he would've had no sympathy.

War protest needs to be against the policy makers and the abusers, not the average soldier that's simply caught up in it all. Most didn't join to fight, simply to have a job and training. I really believe in the goodness in most people and hope that most joined the service not to kill but to serve their country and broaden their own experience.
