Warren and Wretchard score on this one. The enemy is not Al Qaeda, it IS Wahabiism. Problem is that in recognizing that unpleasent fact, our strategy and tactics have to change. Saudi Arabia as a prime example. Some of us make deserved fun of the haughty French-looking Democratic Senator from MA who says that the terrorism issue is a police issue but despite the use of all our military the Bush admin is really acting in more a police manner not a war manner on the heart of the beast. In war you kill and destroy the enemy and his means of renewing his resources. What horrific event will it take for us to throw off the Oprah "Islam is the religion of peace" blinders and realize that the Islamic movement has been fatally co-opted by fanatics doing ANYTHING they can to kill you and your family?
