By invading Iraq and realizing all the further developments since, (like the cost in lives, the cost in money, hardware, like the absence of acceptable justification for the war and the lack of understanding of its consequences), the Bush administration has seriously lowered any chances of further dealing (the same way) with other rogue states.
This is what one gets when he exposes too many cards in this poker game.
