How to fail at being a star. Wide Binary Brown Dwarf discovered.
Hello,
If this topic was posted previously, I apologize.
For those who haven't seen the story however, please check out the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics press release <a href="http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/press/pr0424.html"<here.>/a>
The brown dwarf "stars" are extremely far apart (several times the distance of pluto from our sun), and are precariously held together by a weak gravitational force. A truly fascinating discovery.
Enjoy, Vince
