After 35 years, it still works
One science experiment brought by Apollo 11 still works: the Laser reflector.
It's passive, it's simple, but it tought us the Moon is slowly distancing itself from the Earth.
Appart from the Apollo 15 reflector, all the others (soviet's included) need to be aimed at while in the shadow of the Moon night side.
