Kerry's older daughter chastized the media for being "mean" in reporting that Boston will be virtually shut down for a week by the DNC.

Those of you (thankfully I'm sure) unfamiliar with downton Boston transportation can't appreciate this utter incompetence but the DNC in its infinite wisdom chose the absolutely most insecure spot for its convention. Unwilling to listen to Governor Romney's pleas, they did not use the accessable but out of the traffic stream $1B dollar huge brand new convention center in Southie. No, they insisted on the Fleet Center. Now they must SHUT DOWN the entire superhighway leading into the city from the north. It gets worse as they must also SHUT DOWN the entire north and west commuter rail system as well. Both pass by/under the Fleet Center and could easily be car/truck/train bombed. No such problem with the site in Southis but DUH! Democratic pols are still pretending that 911 was a minor issue. Wait! Now patients cannot get to the noted Mass General Hospital for unschedualable events like childbirth. Gets even better, over 1 million people are supposed to get searched on the subway system. Of course, federal guidelines prevent overt searching of Middle Eastern looking people. They'll be searching blond Sweedish looking 19 year olds.

But not to worry. The "beautiful people" have decided to use the city as their dedicated playground for a week, business and working public be damned.
