Nah, he just got confused about his schedule. It happens at his age.
He was so excited about being in the spotlight he probably just forgot to check his calendar.One of his pals will tell him what happened. (Classified hearings don't have transcripts. Any documents associated with them are strictly controlled, checked out to authorized and cleared personnel only on signature, by receipt, etc. Any records of what transpires in classified hearings are kept with the issuing agency that conducted the briefing.)
At least, that's the way it was when I used to attend classified briefings. I wasn't even allowed to take notes, or discuss the material outside the "tank" where I was briefed with other attendees.
