Jody, the man held a press conference demanding more intelligence at the same time as a briefing giving detailed intelligence.
If someone set him up it was the person who coordinates his schedule. Nonetheless, I would think someone who's done as much grandstanding on Benghazi as McCain has would be personally aware of the briefing.
It was an embarrassing public blunder that I'm shocked TB has not acknowledged. But that's life in the bubble I guess...
