In my humble opinion, whining about the media is a conservative thing. If someone or something doesn't completely agree with them, conservatives regard that as unfair, biased and irresponsible. "You're either for them, or against them."
It's not enough to have Limbaughs, Hannitys, and hundreds of other conservative talk shows. And the Fox Network and Murdoch, which are unabashedly conservative, tilting and spinning what they don't just plain ignore.
Nope - whining about anyone disagreeing with them is their thing. For instance, wanting no more coverage of the US abuses of POWs. Although that is a huge indicator of how far the US has fallen sInce Rumsfeld reputed the Geneva Conventions, conservatives regard that coverage as biased.
Amazing. Doesn't occur to them that the problem is the acts, not the press coverage.
