I use putty ones for sleeping - they are the best, they mold really well to the right shape once they warm up from surrounding body heat. I do also have foam ones similar to those which you showed - but they wouldn't stop me being woken up (say 4am) by police or other sirens. The foam ones are toys compared to the putty ones ..

I might go for Sony, Koss or Sennheiser noise-cancelling headphones - don't want to spend too much though. - It's ridiculous to have to wear such things inside your own house for hours and hours .. but I'm stuck here for the time being, and have to make the best of it.
