Yup...
...this was precisely the point I made before the war in Iraq commenced. It was a bad idea, not just because of the cost in American lives and taxdollars, but because it was not in the best long term interests of the American people.
Fighting the war on terrorism doesn't require bravado and bully tactics...its requires diplomatic skill, accurate intelligence, effective covert action and a confident military. Bush has done nothing to further any of these.
