re: Air drop video for Mars airbag landing system ?

I remember watching a program several months ago where the parachute design was tested in a wind tunnel. With a wind tunnel, they were able to simulate the effects of a supersonic opening under Mars conditions. There were some problems with the original chute design that required modification to function properly. I don't know if they did open air tests or not. Under Earth atmospheric conditions, normal open air tests might not be all that useful for chutes designed for use on Mars.
