I strongly suspect that, when the leaders of Al Qaeda have been removed, the rest of the anti-American terrorist movement will lose steam.
The key is killing (not capturing) Osama Bin Laden and his immediate honchos. When that has been done, the loss of the kingpin will devastate Al Qaeda. The "independents" are losing financing because of the new Arabian law that forces all charities to be funnelled through the Arabian government.
Of course, we can still expect the non-Arab anti-American movement to continue, funded primarily by European and American ultra-leftists. I would NOT be surprised to see funding links between terrorist groups and big ultra-leftist groups. You know which ones.
