Don't see many "Bush/Cheney" bumper stickers or lawn signs out there yet. I think there is a reason.

May be that they're waiting until the convention is over. That would make sense. Kerry had an advantage because he could put "John Kerry" signs out before he'd picked a VP candidate.

But, I suspect it's because it WON'T be "Bush/Cheney". Cheney is a liability, perceived by perceptive America as evil, greedy and dishonest.

I think it will be "Bush/Frist", or someone to counter Edwards. Cheney will go for ostensible health reasons. He might be touted for SecState when Powell tries to salvage what's left of his pride (there isn't any, really) and get out of there. Or as a trusted advisor, etc., blah, blah.

Anyway, I bet another liberal a dollar on that today, no odds, and blew my gambling budget for another 4 years unless I win. Which I rarely do.
