The Earth has some of those as well

The asteroid "Toro" is the most famous example. Toro's orbital mechanics are very interesting and useful as an example problem for testing out a celestial mechanics code. It's an interesting question about where you draw the line between Moon and asteroid. Our Moon's orbital mechanics is described through a modified three body problem where the Earth's gravitational field dominates . Toro's orbit is dominated by the Sun. Solution of the Earth-Moon-Sun problem was regarded by Issac Newton as one of his greatest failures. A theoretical model for the Moon's orbit was found in the early 20th century by an obscure genius named Brown.
