Michael Savage won't be in the Presidential Box at the Republican convention. Michael Moore was, at the Democratic convention.

The issue isn't whether or not each party has its own crackpots. It's whether or not the party accepts them as their mainstream.

Frankly, Goldberg is just the tip of the iceberg. The people invited to speak at various leftist events, particularly entertainers, are foul-mouthed to the extreme. I had to sit through a series of presentations on the internet to get to a quote I was looking for. Thank God I was able to skip forward. The Democratic audience is expected to treat this as "cool" and "sophisticated." A conservative audience would boo them off the stage.

Now, how about the leadership of the Democratic Party? Ted Kennedy screaming "LIES" at the top of his voice, declaring that we have nothing to be afraid of for the next four years except Bush? Kerry drops obscenities all the time. The media doesn't care. It's "cool" from a leftist.
