The swift boat group didn't themselves pay for the ads or the website and it has been suggested some were paid for their help and opinions on Kerry.

Things to think about...was George Elliott, Grant Hibbard and the others who recommend Kerry for his medals lying then or now some thirty years later? Why would Jim Rassmann recommend Kerry for a silver star (got the bronze star) and claim they were under fire? Why do 12 of his crewmen stand by Kerry? At the swift boat website...why use the image they do when there are others which would show a lone person against Kerry out of 14?

Face it Tom anyone saying bads things about these guys might be in the right. They lied at some point and if they lied during the war they should be in big trouble now.
