now that you mention it.....
According to preznit Bush on 1/26/00 "What I think the president ought to do[when gas prices spike up] is he ought to get on the phone with the OPEC cartel and say we expect you to open your spigots.....And the president of the United States must jawbone OPEC members to lower the price."
Now Bush refuses to lobby OPEC members. He won't even call his buddy Bandar Bush to roll over OPEC for him.
Is this a flip-flop, or would you call it waffling?
