The fact that it is not obvious to so many Democrats and that they love this film will be their undoing despite the numerous failures and lackluster domestic performance of the Bush administration. The over the top Democratic attacks on Bush really really really piss me off despite disagreeing with about 75% of Bush's policies. I think most independents are independent because they are not prone to go with a the herd mentality so apparent in both party these days. Democratic exagerations of Bush mistakes and their drug using hollywood cheerleaders are not going to convince "show me" people they have the high moral ground. If they would stick to the facts instead of the hyperbole, tell a consistant story, and show real concern about American security they might have a chance. I keep trying to give Kerry a chance, but every time I do I get more disgusted with his lack of detail and pandering to the foaming at the mouth Bush bashers.

The deep Democratic hatred of Bush for winning a close faught election through the outdated electoral college (which they never even bothered to try and scrap) is as ludicrous as Rush Limbough, Newt Gingrich and all the Republican's who beileved the Clinton's were murderers. Both sides fought to win at any cost withoput regard for what the real vote was. The Republican's fought any change to the results giving their man a win and the Democrat's only wanted a recount in preceincts where they thought they could win not everywhere ballot flaws could have undercounted votes. Independent evaluation showed Bush probably was the winner.

Bush won through a crappy system that does not give every American an equal say in who will be the next President. He has tried to deal with a bad situation to the best of his abilities, some of which were sorely missing in Clinton and Gore (like a backbone) and others subpar (like a tendency to believe what he wants to and not questioning weakly supportive data).

That Moore's film is called a documentary by Hollywood shows just how divorced from reality that crowd is.
