He regretted a particular statement that he HAD made regarding worthiness for a medal; he did NOT regret opposing Kerry or making all the other statements concerning Kerry's being unfit for command. He says that the Boston Globe reporter completely distorted his response. But hey, if it's for the 'greater good' of DNC domination by the elite don't let the truth of the matter interfere, eh?
