Najaf Officials Quit in Protest Over U.S.-Led Assault
The Iraqi Hellhole is getting wider and deeper. Just when you have "Mission Accomplished" and "Iraqi Political Handover" to make us feel surer and safer that America did the RIGHT thing in bringing Democracy to Iraq (so who cares if the Iraqis didn't want it?), we have this.
Iraqi officials working with the American forces are resigning in droves with disgust at our "carnage and barbaric aggression" towards their holy city of Najaf. They're even threatening to JOIN Al Sadr's army!
Man, they're getting pissed....and who could blame them?
What a hellhole we've <made>
