Hello Mark -

I wrote you a nice long response which answered your question in full, but for some reason the keyboard copy function is not working on my computer - hitting "control c" or "control a" simply deletes text - and my reply to you simply went off into the ether when I tried to copy it - oh well.

I'm sure that you can contact the other people who are also concerned about the shutdown in the JPL NEO hazard list through http://www.rense.com.
