Pick any variable that has increased over last 30-40 years (gotta give it a few years to work it's stuff).
Pollution, processed sugar intake, pesticides, margarine, TV watching, video games, lack of book reading, dumbed down political reasoning, deodorant, apathy......
Unless you manage to isolate a particular population that shows a significant positive or negative correlation to one particular factor, it's a guess.
