I mentioned this book when it first came out two months ago. I'm sure it's a good read as Dennis is a nice guy. and a okay writer.
But, his arguments concerning PGM surviving impact on the Moon are absurd. The Earth is a completely different environment compared to the Moon. I doubt much of an asteroid impacts is left on the Moon to mine (I believe Paul Spudis agrees with me). I thing the best place to find platinum is in NEAs not the Moon.
