When '60 Minutes' fairly covers the book...

then you might have a point. The mainstream press has given a lot of coverage to books against Bush but hardly mention "Unfit for Command" unless they're trying to refute it, nor have they given much attention to any other book favorable to Bush. It's rather hard to make the case that anything other than bias is behind these discrepancies, just as is the case when you compare the weeks of coverage they gave to the bogus "Bush AWOL" story earlier this year when compared to allegations against Kerry's claims in Vietnam and Cambodia.

Under that abortion McCain-Feingold Campaign Finance law, 527s are not allowed to produce ads that favor a candidate, therefore requiring them to run negative ads. At the same time, it makes it illegal for then to formally coordinate with a campaign while allowing virtually unlimited donations. Some reform.

Soros and others have donated millions to outfits like MoveOn.org. A Texas businessman has donated somewhere around $150,000 to 200,000 to the Swiftboat Veterans for the Truth. Hardly comparable, at least to me.
