Aftert two world wars, our civilized nations put checks and balances in place so we might have MORE civilized nations, or even civilization.
Look up the word CIVIL.

Bush has torn up all the rules, made us untouchable by the world courts, ("I AM the world court...........judge, jury and execution").

And there's no-one to stop him. You're either with him or against him or you are seen as unpatriotic and possibly treasonous. And it's just too bad if he pre-empts war into a sovereign nation, that he intimidates, co-erces or bribes other nations or that he uses banned weapons or that he uses torture to obtain his aims. He has put back "civilization" 50 years. While Ramsey Clark may not be a shining example of leadership, he sure as hell has a point.
