War on terrorism, e.g. It's not that "terrorism" doesn't need to be contained and eliminated, it does. HOW, is the issue.
The way GWB has gone about it, attacking NOT terrorism but Iraq, REPEAT - attacking NOT terrorism, but Iraq - AND making the world a much, much more dangerous place for Americans that is the case against Bush.
And, at enormous expense in terms of lives, money, and the goodwill of the rest of the world which is necessary for making America and Americans safer.
To compare Bush with Lincoln is an insult to Lincoln of the highest order. Lincoln preserved the Union, Bush is hell-bent on destroying the US by polarizing the population, bankrupting the treasury, increasing the trade imbalance, and alienating the rest of the world we need in order to survive and be safe.
Great post. It just doesn't do what you claims it does. In fact, it does the opposite.
