It's getting interesting
Ayatollah Ali Sistani has suddenly appeared on the scene after flying in from London. He's calling for a march on Najaf. Sadr's mob won't have the option of destroying the Imam Ali mosque if Sistani's people are walking in the front door. This is a clever solution to a difficult problem. Sadr's only options now are to flee or destroy the mosque immediately. Simply hanging tough with Sistani banging on the front door will defeat Sadr's political agenda. This is like a chess game.
