The bible has little to do with the present situation in the occupied territories.
The fact is Isreal would like to give back the occupied territories because if they don't, there will be more Palestinians living in Isreal than Jews. There is a Palestinian population bomb, and the Isreali government knows it. And what are the chances of the Isreali democracy surviving if the majority of Isreal's populace is Arab? Of course the Palestinians know of this impending population bomb as well: Could this be yet another reason why the Palestinians are so opposed to peace at the present time?
Thanks for reminding me of another reason why it is the Arabs and not the Jews who don't want peace in Isreal.
