I think it will steel power from the career political hacks on both sides.

Sure more hacks are waiting in the wings to replace them, but hopefully the debate will graduate to a higher level than:

"You're a draft dodger."

"I know what I am, but what are you"

P.S. I don't care if Republicans control both houses of Congress. I'm angry that term limits have dissappeared from the political debate. I think its a great idea who's time has come. And if it causes a problem down the road (I can't think of any serious problems that it would cause) then we can repeal it.

Heck, I might consider a vote for Kerry if he made the issue a center point of his campaign. (OK now I'm the one telling a lie...See what politics does to an otherwise honest man).
