Nested Universe? - RobVG - 11/26/2012 4:28:49 PM
- I'm going out on a limb. - bowser - 11/27/2012 5:22:13 AM
- More cooped than nested, I think. - alcaray - 11/27/2012 1:45:44 AM
- here's my deal... - FrankC - 11/26/2012 9:17:29 PM
  - If the mass goes to another dimension... - alcaray - 11/27/2012 1:47:14 AM
    - By persistent I assume you mean we have never seen one of them stop functioning. - FrankC - 11/27/2012 9:27:30 PM
      - Then your theory states that the mass hangs around inside the black hole for a while... - alcaray - 11/27/2012 10:43:48 PM

        Not necessarily - FrankC - 11/28/2012 1:52:15 AM

If the mass immediately goes there, then the mass immediately is not here. - alcaray - 11/28/2012 2:40:45 AM

So after a black hole is formed, what happens to the additional mass it consumes? - FrankC - 11/28/2012 3:08:10 AM

It's mass, demonstrably, is here. The effects of its mass are apparent. - alcaray - 11/28/2012 5:17:49 AM
  - Well, - RobVG - 11/26/2012 10:05:44 PM
- Well, this Universe has at least one boarder, me! - bowser - 11/26/2012 8:07:33 PM
  - Maybe the universe is finite and unbounded. - ER - 11/26/2012 8:26:40 PM
    - If the inflationary model of the universe continues to hold... - alcaray - 11/27/2012 1:57:29 AM
      - Even without inflation, - ER - 11/27/2012 3:53:23 AM

You don't need to hold a picture of a hypersphere in your head. - alcaray - 11/27/2012 4:14:52 AM

Inflation and Expansion are not the same thing. - ER - 11/27/2012 5:43:42 AM

Inflation isn't that new (unless you are trying to brag on how old you are). - alcaray - 11/27/2012 6:10:32 AM

And now the expansion is accelerating - RobVG - 11/27/2012 4:08:20 PM

        I don't know if its actually bragging... - ER - 11/27/2012 1:12:26 PM
    - You are certainly correct, especially with "may". - bowser - 11/26/2012 8:39:42 PM
      - I don't think there is an "outside". - ER - 11/27/2012 1:26:45 AM
