It's Word
I'll bet that Word inserted fancy quotes (left- and right-leaning, like \\ and //) when you pressed the quote key. Web browsers don't recognize them as real quotes, so they won't understand the URL.
Your post is full of "?" where apostrophes should be, and that's a sure sign Word is doing the same thing to single-quotes.
If you want to use Word to compose online messages that can be read by all Web browsers, you'll need to turn off pretty quotes. I think it's part of the auto-correction feature.
