Well, until the stone is proven to be of extratewrrestrial origin, I would be cautious.
There have been many cases of grass-cutting machinery throwing rocks over half a mile and breaking windows or damaging cars. At that distance, the victim might not make the connection with the activity.
Or it could be kids throwing stones.
These scenarios are rather more likely than a meteorite hitting someone, but as I say, let's wait for analysis of the rock.
