Current Events » in reply to Sooner or later, Sadr must be killed. He will undoubted try a third time to overthrow the new Iraqi Government. And a fourth time, etc, until he is killed.

Killing messiahs is a subtle business and requires some care

Sadr could easily be assassinated while delivering a sermon at the Kufa mosque. Doing so would insure his becoming a martyr with disciples venerating his memory for the next century. Sadr needs to be caught doing something unnatural with a sheep while eating a ham sandwich. During the following up roar is when he could be openly eliminated. Otherwise his death needs to be at the hands of a highup traitor from within his own organization (arranging this is the best approach).
