Thoroughly disturbing
There's not a single aspect of this story that isn't completely horrifying.
How much alcohol does one need to ingest in order to be able to fall asleep after witnessing another human being (much less a longtime friend) killed in such a way? You'd think it'd have a sobering effect, literally.
