Vanderlei de Lima was 23 miles into a marathon, holding a good lead while no doubt fighting off exhaustion. This nut case* runs out at him. For all de Lima knew, the guy had a knife or something. It's quite likely that lunatic cost him a gold metal in the world's most important race.
*They showed pictures of the moron running out into a Grand Prix race last year. He's a certifiable loon. Sooner or later, he's likely to kill himself, or even worse, get someone else killed by his stupid antics. Greece fined him and gave him a 1 year suspended sentence. They should've been much harder on him.
Horan, in a costume similar to Sunday’s, ran onto the track at the British Grand Prix last year and stayed there for more than 20 seconds, forcing Formula One racers traveling at more than 200 mph to swerve around him. He was carrying a sign that said: “Read the Bible — the Bible is always right.â€
Some articles said the race cars were doing 200 MPH, others said 145 MPH. Sounds like a English/metric units thing.

I would hope the police handled him in a thoroughly rough manner
