Boiling it down:

- Iran is going hell-bent for leather to develop an atomic bomb*.

- There isn't jack shit that the United Nations can do about it. Or is willing to do.

*Their leaders have publicly announced that massive Iranian casualties in a nuclear exchange would be a small price to pay for the obliteration of Israel.
