So you're a paranoid, well so am I.

But, as it turns out the NBER are what they say they are. Whereas the Bush whitehouse is not nonpartisan by any measure.

The fact they thought of changing the date, but didn't should give you a clue.

It's the Bush Recession which means only that it started after Clinton left not that Bush made it...but it's all in the spin with Bush.
