I must have 3 cords of dried, seasoned split maple, with another cord sitting there waiting to be cut and split. It will probably be 6 cords by the time the election is over, as I have another huge bunch just waiting to be dragged out of the woods. I head this place, that that insert is so efficient it's unbelieveable. Put one in upstairs that's bigger, but I don't know if they'll use it.
Anyway, I go chop - chop - chop when I want to relax, work off steam. And I was thinking. Those MIAs have been sold out by Kerry, for certain. And by Bush the First, Bush the Second, Clinton, Reagan, everyone.
But maybe the most disappointing is that most recently they have been sold out by McCain. He has had the stature to see that something would get done, he could have raised hell, and he hasn't. Sad.
As far as Korea, no airman who bailed out over or crashed into China or the Soviet Union ever came back. They were deserted by Eisenhower, to maintain the fiction that the US was fighting the North Koreans, and not the Soviets.

Went out to chop wood. Don't know what I'm going to do with all this wood.
