The real idiots are the guys managing the Democratic Party. Don't they have an internal vetting process to gain party endorsement? The Democrats got burned bigtime with George McGovern. There's no excuse for making this mistake twice. Only viable candidates should have been fielded against Bush with the extreme liberals told to either wait until the next election or run as independents.
