Charge up your cell phones and make sure you have an old fashioned line phone that you can plug in. For instance here.......all we had were portables in the house, and they quit working as soon as the power went out.
Here we are in central Florida....... nearly 48 hours later and we're still getting gusty bands out there. The power of this storm was just incredible, it is so HUGE. I keep thinking of that vortex of power that sat on Jupiter many moons ago and wondered what it must have been like underneath that.
I shudder to think of another hurricane the same size.
Seems they all have different personalities.
They seem to have a "signature".
You certainly can't ignore them.
